I agree that when we are being creative, we could solve our problems better than when we planned it carefully. First of all, I would like to define creative. According to my opinion, creative is the ability to generate a new idea and also a new concept. I believe that most people are having the same definition of creative like my definition.

To begin with,I could say that planning carefully is not better than being creative when we are facing a problem. Creativity could give us an ability to solve a problem in a short time. When we want to make a proper plan, we need to take a lot of time to make a great plan, but when people are being creative, we could find a solution in a short time without losing time.

In addition, when we create a proper plan, there are some circumstances where our plan couldn’t be done because the problem had changed by time. Creating a proper plan would not be an effective way to solve a problem because sometimes plans are about to be done only in a certain conditions.
In conclusion, while planning carefully could waste our time and could be done in certain circumstances, being creative offer a general problem solving method which we could say that being creative is better than planning carefully whenever we are facing a problem.

Everybody knows that a problem is obviously best to be solved with an innovative way which is organized and planned carefully. But when you have to choose which one is better between being creative and planning carefully before facing problems, I believe that being creative is more important. Why?

This is simple. We are all aware that the ability to become creative is a gift, not every individual have this talent. When you are given the option to be special, why would we choose the ordinary? I am not saying that planning is not important, but in fact, most individuals look at results, not at the processes. For instance, when you are looking at a commercial billboard, what you rate is the result’s quality, not how organized the creator team created it. This is why in order to get the best result, creativity indeed is necessary.

Just-planning-carefully type people are play-safers. They prepare everything beforehand, so when a hindrance comes, it can be tackled easily. However, what if it does not go with the plan? Creative people can suggest some alternative way outs fast therefore the problem may still be solved. Therefore, although a team consists of just-creative people whose solution lacks planning is more likely to get additional problems in the future; these small difficulties are easy to deal with because the team will always know what to do to solve them.

Until today, the major successes were never achieved by play-safers. Creative people did. To put it briefly, planning-carefully-element true is important, but not the most essential.

Do you agree with being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problem?

There are two kind of people when they facing some problem. First kind is people who planning carefully and the second kind is people who think creative when they facing some problem. A lot of people believe that the first kind of people is better than the second, but actually not.
First of all, being creative can help us to save our time. We do not have a lot of time for thinking about solutions for our problem. In shorter time, being creative can produce same result as you planning carefully for facing the problem.
Secondly, being creative help us to use our brain maximally. When the problem comes, our brain will work maximally to thinking about the solutions in a short time. There is one statement about our brain, ”you use it or lost it”. So, being creative will improve our brain capability.
Another reason for being creative is that will keep us from being stress. People who like planning first for their problem, may be will stress when they does not found the solutions for their problem.
Furthermore, being creative will help us when facing unexpected problem. People can planning carefully if they have time, but when you facing unexpected problem, you do not have long time for planning. You need spontaneous and a creative mind. It will manage your problem better than thinking for planning carefully.
More over, being creative will help us when the situation was changed and did not match to our planning. If you just planning and do not think creative, you can not manage your problem when situation change.
To sum up, for me, being creative is better than planning carefully for some reason like I write above. Being creative can manage problem in every situation do not like planning carefully, just for one situation like on the plan.

"Do you agree with being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problem?"
In Natasia Yosua's point of view.

Many people agree with the statement “being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problems”. It’s because they see many creative people who have reached their goals and have been very successful people even been the richest people in the world. But I don’t agree with it and I have some arguments for it.

Initially, maybe we have heard that usually when the deadline gets closer and closer, the creative ideas will jump out and we will be able to make an excellent work. But I believe the creative ideas which jump out from our mind exactly one or two days before the deadline are not very brilliant compared with the ideas which jump out when we really are planning for it long time ago before the deadline. For the reason that when we are planning the things carefully, we really spend time for our brain to work and dig more ideas that may come from any sources such as television, the scenery outside the window, radio, music, internet, the environment, etc. And when we already have the plan in our head, we know the steps we should do, and then everything will be more than fine.

Additionally, when the problems come, many people are panic instead of thinking hard for the ideas. And we all know that when people are panic, they will not be able to think clearly and they will have fewer sources to find the ideas.

Finally, we can conclude that many people around the world are success because of their creativity, but most of them are success because they have a very careful and orderly plan in solving their problems.

A well-planned event might be successful. In the other hand, creativity is highly needed. For me, rather than planning carefully, I prefer being creative. Brilliant ideas from a creative person are what we need in an event, during the preparation and during the event itself.

First, during the preparation, creative people are giving creative and innovative ideas for the event, enchanting the event with extraordinary things. People are getting bored with the ordinary events, even though it is planned carefully. A well-prepared ordinary event might be forgotten shortly, but an extraordinary event may be an unforgettable moment for many people.

Second, during the event itself, creativity is mostly needed. Many unexpected things or accidents may happen in an event, for example, a delay. Creative people will be able to solve problems creatively, giving no sign of accident in the event, while a careful planner will be panic because something is out of the plan. A good planner must also give flexibility in the planning, in order to prepare for something unexpected to happen.

In conclusion, being creative is better than planning carefully. Creativity is needed every time, during the preparation of the event and during the event itself, therefore, it is more important than just a careful planning. Nonetheless, to create a perfect event, you need both creativity and careful planning.

These days, many people like to be creative more than planning carefully. But lots of people got problem when they only think creative more than planning something carefully. And I believe that sometimes think creative is not always better than planning carefully.

First of all, not all people can think quickly and creatively in such a short time. But every people can plan something carefully. For example when a company must do something that is very important; a boss cannot only to rely on his/her creativity. Because when doing something very important, especially for the continuity of a company, a boss must have more than a creative thinking. And for organize a company, a boss must have a systematical thinking which will appear when he/she planning to organize carefully.

Another reason that planning carefully is better than think creative is because when someone needs to take a decision for his/her future, he/she need to planning it carefully and not to think creative. For example when someone decided to take a job when he/she is thinking to be an employee or hire someone to do some jobs while he/she is a boss. And when someone planning something carefully, he/she also can think creative in a longer time. With this condition, someone can do something more perfect than if he/she only think creative.

In conclusion, I think that planning carefully is better than think creative because someone who plan something carefully usually do something better than if he/she just think creative.

Write your opinion about the topic below:
Do you agree with being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problems?

Recently, many people has discussed about how we should behave when we are facing troubles, being imaginative and original or setting up strategies with awareness? Some group believe that being creative is much more valuable, but the others, including myself, have a faith that we should face problems with thinking and calculating steps we are going to take cautiously.

First of all, although it would be very good to be creative in this life, but do not forget that there are people who have creativity less than the others. The main point is not everyone is creative. Because of that, the best solution that can be applied by everybody is thinking plans well to solve the problems.

More over, the fact that is inevitable to all of us is, without preparation, we tend to make mistakes when doing something. Being creative cannot guarantee that you will make mistake less than the others or even solving the problems perfectly. But it will be different when you are planning solution properly. You can predict the failure that probably happens based on your planning and you can still repair your strategy.

To conclude, in my point of view, I think that depending on creativity without arranging plan is same as placing bets on gamble, when there are chances to success and to be failed, while having tactic on solving problems will minimize the probability of occurring failure.

For quite a long time, we have been disscusing the better way in facing problems, many people said that being creative is the better way to face the problem, but some said that being crative is too risky, and planning carefully is much more better. These two choices have made a great argument until now and i am now writting my opinion about it.
First of all, i would like to explain the benefit of being craetive, being creative in facing problem may seem to be quite risky, but in fact, nearly all people who chose this way found out that the problem will solved faster rather than they had to think over and over, it just looked like a waste of time. Planning carefully will bring the problem to a very succesful result, But what about if your plan is just not good enough, that you have to plan another way, i believe that this way will lead you to another problem while you’re planning it.
Another reason to strengthen my opinion is being crative doesn’t mean you do anything without logical thinking within it. Several people thought that being this way just useless because you just do it without even think about it, well this statement do has a good point, but i believe that think about the problem while doing it is not an impossible thing, you still can use your brain while doing it, don’t you?
To sum up, in my opinion people should be creative in facing every problem, it’s too late if you think about it, you can make your plan while you’re doing it, but you can’t do it if you just sit and do nothing but make a lot of plan.

Do you agree with being creative is better than planning carefully when faceing problems?

I disagree of the statement that being imaginative is better than planning meticulously when facing obstacles. By planning carefully when facing a problem, you can do the better way to solve that problem and you can get a better result than just using your creativity. Furthermore, you will get used to think if you plan carefully so if you face other obstacles, you can easily get the way out. Many people believe that creative is better because you don’t have to think and waste your time in thinking how to get the way out and all you get is nothing, but actually if you try to think, there is nothing useless with all your efforts.
By being scrupulous, you can find a better way to solve problems, because you will analize first what the problem is and what the more effective and efficient way to solve that kind of problem is. Besides that, you will get a better result though. For example, if I had a problem with my friend so I can’t just let my creativity do the job. Moreover, I have to think before act, because the problem is serious and it is connected with other people, so I choosed to think carefully about what I should talk to him and what I will do next.
However, if you always plan carefully and think meticulously, you will get used to think, and the process of thinking will be made as often as you think. It will help you to find a better solution than just find an instant way in an emergent situation because you have predicted beforehand if something that unpredictable will happen. For instance, there is a proverb ,” Prepare your umbrella, before raining “. It means that some plans that is already properly prepared beforehand, usually condusive to good results.
Many people said that it will waste your time for you to think, but actually if you only rely on your creativity, you can’t consider the negative effect of what action you are taking. In addition, it will take your time again in solving the negative effect that appears. Hence, it is better for you to cut wisdom teeth than rely on the creativity.
To conclude, thinking properly is the best way to face problems, because you can use a better way to get a better result. It will save your time because you don’t have to think twice for the same problem. More importantly, the process of thinking will be made, so it will be easier to encounter the next obstacle.

Nowadays many people have been arguing that which is better, being creative or planning carefully when you face a problem. Nearly all people thought that being creative is better, however I believe that planning carefully is much better than being creative. I am not said that we don’t need creative to solve our problem but with planning carefully, you have a preparation time to think.
First of all, my reason is sometimes being creative isn’t effective against many problems, for example: when your English teacher asks you to do one-week homework, you do that one day before. So, of course your score is much lower than if you do that one week before. There is a proverb said that you can eat an elephant, if you eat it one a time. It means that you can solve a very big problem if you think and do it constantly even in the small step.
Another reason is many people including me don’t react in the good way when the problems come because the creativity needs time to give us the good solution. So for me, being creative is gambling when you don’t have a preparation time. It means that sometimes you get good solution, sometimes not.
To sum up, in my opinion planning carefully is much better than being creative because planning carefully gives a preparation time to process our think so we get the best solution.

Do you agree with being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problems?
No, i disagree with that statement. I think that planning carefully is much better than being creative when we face problems. Why do I think so? There are several reasons to make me sure to plan anything carefully when I face problems.
Firstly, if we plan carefully, it means that we have prepared and we are ready to face the problems more than when we just depend on our creativity to pass through problems. Not all of the people has the same creativity level. There arepeople who have talents to be creative and they don’t need to prepare anything to face problems. However, there are also people who become nervous and don’t know what to do when facing problems. So, it’s better to get anything ready to overcome the problems.
Secondly, not all the problems can be solved just by creativity. Some problems need to be thought carefully and planned how to overcome them. There are problems which can’t be solved in a short period. Also, how creative the people are, it is possible they can’t find any solutions when facing specific problems which need a lot of attention and long period time.
Lastly, we can feel calmer if we have prepared anything ready than when we depend on our creativity. It means that we can think freshly and find the right solution.
To sum up, we have to plan anything carefully before doing something because it will give us a lot of advatages.

"Being creative is better than being palnned carefully"

In my opinon, I disagree with the statement. Altough both of the act are essentials to solve the problems quickly and receive the best results, planning carefully is the most basis of finishing the problems
There are two reasons why I choose to plan carefully, those are my personal preferences and low risk of failing the task. The first one is that I like to think about it than suddenly I got the idea and start doing that. It’s to fast that I can’t think how to use the idea, and I’m not the person that very easy to have many idea. So, if I waiting for the idea to come, it might be to late to finish the work
Last is low risk of failing the task. When we plan carefully, we consider all of factor contributing the percentage of success, such as time, workload, schedule, references, and the most important is the unexpected event that may make tah task is halt, to the worse, a very long time. If we use the creative way, the idea may be perfect for the first time, but as the matter complicated, the idea can be thrown away due to huge work just to implement the idea, increasing the chances that it won’t be finished in time
In conclusion, if we want to play safe, we can plan carefully so any obstacle that thrown at us can be identified and taken care off quickly and accurately so it doesn’t add another problem.

I’m not sure about this statement, because, I feel that a good planning is better than being creative. Let’s say that we’re going to plan a party, or a camp. Imagine that the plan is really good. It has a good structure about how much money do we need, what do we need to bring, and something else that we need to make the camp or the party really good. If we do our creativity to make something, (and we know that not everyone is super creative), we will get our party or camp ruined. We don’t know how much money that we need, don’t know what to prepare, and anything. There must be something needed that we don’t prepare, and if that case happens, it will ruin our entire day. If we have planned something, and we have a problem with it, we’ll have an alternative plan or we usually call it “plan B”, It is a plan that’s general and easy to do, but it won’t make everyone happy. But, if the “plan B” still doesn’t work, then we really need to use our creativity to solve the problem. So, in conclusion, I am more to the “planned carefully” rather than being creative, but, if we’re out of plan, we must use oru creativity to solve our problem.

Do you agree with being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problem?

I agree that being creative is better than planning carefully. Why? Our creativity is the easiest and the simplest way to solve problems.
First of all, we know that when we face problems, time is one of the most essential factors, because there is a deadline for every problem. We can solve problems better and faster using our creativity, which is slightly differ from carefully organized plans. More time is needed to make a well organized plan.
Secondly, flexibility. Flexibility is one of the advantages of creativity. We need to solve a problem according to the circumstances. We never know when will another problem come. We cannot predict it, but with creativity, we solve it quickly. That is another thing that a carefully organized plan can’t solve it quickly. What creativity needs is only a clear mind. Using our creativity, more ways to solve a problem can be found in a short time.
Thirdly, we usually heard that creativity comes minutes before the deadline, but that is wrong. Ideas can pop out anytime anywhere. What makes an idea unique is because ideas can be inspired because of the environment around us.
In conclusion, creativity is much better because to solve problems, we also need to face time and circumstances that we cannot predict.

Yes, I agree. I agree with the statement that being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problems. First of all, I would like to tell you what the advantages from both sides of view are. When we are going to plan for all of our problems, the advantages are we might do the best that we can to solve the problems, all of our problems might be finished according to our plan. And, when we are going to be creative for all our problems, the advantages are we only need few time to think what we had to do to solve our problems and we might do more problems than planning first.

In addition, nowadays problems are getting harder and bigger. Some problems might need much time to be completely solved. As the time goes by, we are getting older and older. Problems also grow, from easy to uneasy. Some problems that really hard to solve cannot be solved by thinking and planning only. Some problems might get out of what you have panned before. And with this case, you really need creative thinking. Even though the problems get out of your way, you still can handle it with your creative thinking. And many people love others who could think creatively.
In conclusion, you better start from now to think creative to solve all of your problems, because creative might become better as long as you often use it. And, even through you had many problems, you could handle it faster, and creatively.

Do you agree that being creative is better than planning carefully when facing problems?
I disagree with this statement. You’ll need creative mind to solve a problem. But, it is better if you planned carefully to solve the problem.
First of all, many teenager think that being creative is better, so, they often underestimate tomorrow’s test and do nothing the day before. and maybe, some of them maybe pass the test, it will make them sure about his/her creativity. But, i am convinced that if they study and prepare before taking the test, they will gain better score than doing nothing and rely on their creativity. I am sure about it because i have experienced it when i am still a junior high school student.
Secondly, most of the creative person is lazy. It is because they belief they can face the problem with their creativity. But, that method to solve the problem has a high risk. So, it is better to plan carefully when solving the problems because it has low risk.
In addition, it is good to have both of them to solve the problem. Many inventor such as Isaac Newton, Alexander Graham Bell, have creativity and hardworking. So, it is perfect if you have both of them. But if i must compare them, i will choose to plan carefully to solve the problem.
To conclude, let us try to plan something carefully before we do it. Because it will give better result than if you rely on your creativity.

I would like to comment on several aspects:
1. Watch your grammar. E.g.,
a. There are two KIND of people when they FACING some PROBLEM.
Should have been:
There are two kindS of people when they face some problemS.

b. Most of the creative PERSON IS lazy
Should have been:
Most of the creative PERSONS/ PEOPLE ARE lazy.

c.

2. As your writing is rated by machine (to some extent), please make sure you use COHESIVE DEVICES. What are they? Please find out in my 1st posting of mine, especially for Patricia, Natasia and Samuel.

One notice:
"Secondly, flexibility."
You do not end with a NOUN, like "flexibility".
You may rewrite it with:
The SECOND advantage of creativity is flexibility.

OR

Secondly, the advantage of creativity is its flexibility. We need to solve a problem according to the circumstances.

3. Make sure you state the CONCLUSION. This one is one of the best pieces.

"In conclusion, while planning carefully could waste our time and could be done in certain circumstances, being creative offer a general problem solving method"
SIR: ... but check out for grammar:

"Being creative offerS a MORE general ..."

4. PARAGRAPHING
It's my fault. I haven't reminded you of the importance of paragraphing, OR probably you copied from what you had written in your .doc. Please make sure the iBT TOEFL is able to identify you have made a CLEAR-CUT paragraphing. Enter 2x, for instance. This point 4 goes to:

Lili, Viciano, Johan, James, Joses, Evan, Samuel, Leo, Kevin and Billy. 2 BEST MODELs are
that of Felik and of Patricia.

When facing a problem, for me, being creative has more advantages than planned carefully, like, time saving and more flexible.
Firstly, we do not need much time to prepare it. If we planned it carefully, we must search the root of the problem, all details of the problem, and also think how to face it before the trouble come. Of course it takes much more time than if we be creative. But if we be creative, when the trouble come, we just need to think for a moment and we can face it. We do not need to waste our precious time to plan it carefully, and we can use the time to do our other activity.
Secondly, it is more flexible. If we planned it and the problem blow up and unfortunately we did not think about it before, we can not face the problem successfully; even we have waste much time to plan it carefully. But if we do not plan it and just depend to our creativity, we will not waste much time and we can face the problem successfully. We do not need to predict what kind of problem will it be, we just need to think for a moment just after we know the exact problem, then we can face the problem successfully.
In conclusion, being creative is much better than planned carefully to face a problem. Because if we are being creative, we can save our time and we are more flexible to face any problem.

Problem solving in one of the major concerns in life. We faces a number of problems our daily life. Its very obvious that problem comes with out prior notice. In such a situation we find ourself in out of blue situation. Confusion and chaos are what that accompany with it. There are many view points of approaching the problem solution. As for example some prefer to use creativity while other prefer to plan carefully then approach. According to me the way to solve a problem is to approach it with prior planing.

One of the best way to solve the problem is to solve the very source of it which vary in nature and characteristic that affect the problem in itself.

Planing is very crucial in order to accomplish a task with success. Planing involves basic determining how to carry out a task step wise. It involves identifying two questions, firstly, What has to be done ? and secondly, How it has to be done ?
Accordingly, implementing this approach in problem solving includes firstly identifying the cause of problem in order to solve it and secondly what should be done to solve it. Working strategically with prior planing with keeping in mind what to do and how to do guerents success. It also saves time in decision making, as most of the statergies have been proven to work corectly.

although creativity is also an another option for problem solving. It includes experienmenitng, that is trial and error method. However it may be useful in come cases but it dosent gurenty success every time.

Thus, even though creativity provides with more options, but according to me problem solving should be carried out with prior planing.
